If I'm pushing data with the MQTT protocol to a MQTT broker, can I use AdvancedHmi to retrieve that data and use it to create a visual display of that data??

Yes you should be able to do this by adding to AdvancedHMI.
https://mosquitto.org/

I have not done this but it looks like this should work.

Hello,

An alternative is PeakHMI. PeakHMI has a native MQTT client driver.
