networking systems

I'll take a shot at DH+; I'll leave an explanation of Profibus to one of the Siemens experts.

DH+ (Data Highway Plus) is an Allen-Bradley communications protocol that utilizes a twinaxial transmission media (Belden 9463). It is a deterministic protocol (devices on the network have a unique I.D. of "Node" number) that supports up to 64 devices (nodes). Baud rate is 57/6 kbps with a maximum trunkline length of 3,048 meters and maximum dropline length of 30.4 meters.
