hello,

does any one know any site i can get some tutorial help for step7 5.2, any free books online, or any wokred examples material would be great thanks, or possibly a cheap book would be nice also, is there a boom out ther that teaches GRAPH7 and LAD, thanks

Also, the Hans Berger books "Automating with STEP7 in LAD and FBD" and "Automating with STEP7 in STL and SCL" are recommendable. Not cheap, but good.

Dont know about GRAPH.

There is a pretty good and quick/short getting started type guide that should have installed with Step 7. It should appear in your \Siemens\Documentation menu from the Windows Start bar as "STEP 7 - Working with STEPY 7". Or search your hard drive for "s7gs___b.pdf. Or you can download it from here Getting Started It is sort of a step by step guide using Ladder, FDB, and STL. It covers Functions, Function Blocks, Data Blocks (instance and shared) and Multiple Instances.
