Hello all!
I have a PN Coupler connecting two PLCs, one on X1 and one on X2 and am able to transfer data using the IN and OUT configuration, but am baffled by the RD_WRITE_STO and RD_READ_STO and RD_WRITE_PUB and RD_READ_PUB configurations. It seems like using these configurations allows the asynchronous transfer of much more data, but from what I can tell, some programming will be required. Unfortunately, the manual is extremely nebulous and simply says, "IO controller (sender) issues a write request to the PN/PN Coupler".
This makes me think I need to write some logic to get this to work, but I have been unable to find any additional resources or examples.
Does anyone have an example of using RD_WRITE_STO and RD_READ_STO using TIA Portal?
Any help is appreciated.
