Can someone please help me get started on writing a LadderLogic program where I have an Allen Bradley SLC 503 PLC capture data of the PICDEM 2 using the RS232

PICDEM2 => RS232 => PLC

Thank you DDOBSON, the user manual did help, but I need to know how I can use ladder logic program written with Allen Bradley's RSLogix software to accomplish the task of having the SLC503 PLC capturing data using RS232 and PICDEM2.
