I Would Like To Know Wats Meant Sl-3 Requirements,

Coz Our Consultant Is Insisting For Plc With Sl3 Requirements

He may be referring to a "SIL-3" rated PLC. Is this part of a safety system? Almost any DCS system is rated SIL-1. Allen-Bradley and Siemens have a SIL-2 rated PLC, Triconics has SIL-3 and SIL-4 systems. The higher the rating, the more dependable the system.

I'm sure there are others, I just listed the ones I know of.

I didnt realise any one had a SIL 4. Would not be cheap!
