Hi,

Using a SLC 5/05 with the serial port in use. I am trying to use the Ethernet to send an ASCHI string to a Digital Display. I have an Ethernet to 232 converter attached to the display. Not having much luck. Any suggestions?

We need a lot more information. What is this Ethernet to Serial coverter? We need to see the logic. Is MSG instruction used, etc... etc..

When i troubleshoot serial devices I usually starts with Hyperterminal and see what data is going in/out of the serial device.

-Is command/info from SLC reaching the "converter"?
-Is the data coming out this "coverter"?
-Can you make the display work by connecting it to a PC with Hyperterminal?
