Can any explain about sequence of event recorder in DCS/
PLC? I want to know about its hardware deatails ,i/o count etc.,for introducing in DCS/PLC.
 
When writing state machine based PLC code I always make sure I store a buffer of the last three active states for troubleshooting purposes. That is a great help when trying to diagnose how a state machine has gone crazy.
 
I need more information .Is it required to add some special module to establish sequence of event recorder.Is there any defference bteween DCS nad PLCs to use this function?
