Hi all,

I'm running WinCC Flexible 2005 under WinXP Pro with SP2. when I run WinCC Flex I'm always getting the following message
"Cannot initialize SQLDMO server class.
This usually indicates a corrupt Database installation.
Try to reinstall the WinCC flexible database server (see Readme)"
I've allready tried de-installing and installing again, this didn't work. I've read someware about the same issue but the program they recomend for de-installation is only for WinCC Flex. 2004.
Anyone else had an idea or knows how to solve this?

Thx
HG

Heino,

I had a similar problem with WinCC Flex 2004. I had another application installed on my PC, which used a full SQL server. Apparently the two SQL databases could not play together in the same PC. I have not had this problem since upgrading WinCC Flex to 2005 SP1.
Regards,
Chris
