Dear Folks,

Iam looking for a help, I had a call this morning to look after a problem in an Allen Bradley ML1500, I want to go there prepared.

I have a RS Logix 500 (which I usually use for my ML1000), my question is: Can I access the ML1500 with the same software(i.e the Logix 500)?If not , what would be the suitable software.

It all depends, are you using the free version RSL500 for the 10 point ML1000? If so then NO it will not work. The ML1500 has a RS232 (DF1) port but can have a 2nd port.

The ones to ask would be the ones that have the ML1500 i.e. what model is it and is there anything connected to its communication channel(s).
