Has anyone use the 9300-RAPMKIT modem kit from AB? You are suppose to be able to send out pages directly from the PLC to the modem and then to the pagers without having to use a 3rd party paging software package running on a pc. I was just wondering if there are any issues like if I have 5 alarms at the same time, what will happen? Will the modem be able to buffer this info and send out one page at a time, all at once, or crash? I guess I can do the buffering inside the PLC but fast paging responses to the alarms are critical and just want to know if anyone ran across any problems using this kit for paging purposes.
