Copying I/O Descrption in Controllogix

With RSlogix 5000 is it possible for me to access I/O descriptions for a module and move them to a tag?
Any help would be appreciated.

If you attach an Alias to the I/O the descriptions follow

The tag slot7 is an Alias for the Local:7.0.DATA of the output card
