RSLOGIX ERROR "%1 in %2"

Hello,

The last time I tried opening RS logix on my laptop I got a error that read "%1 in %2" and only allowed me to click "ok" which then proceed close the error window, and any attempt to open the RSLogix.

Has anyone encountered this error before? Any help would be great!

Usually it means that you have lost your RSLogix key code, or it has been corrupted. Have you deleted some files from the root directory of your laptop hard drive?

Thanks Lancie1 and Mickey,

I will check this out at work tonight and see what I can find. I didn't do anything myself with the laptop, but I know IT has been on a security ramapge and could have modified my account to not allow me to access the software.

I've just had this problem running rs 500 for the first time

Running the program as an administrator solved the problem for me
