I need to test a microswitch mounted to a device. It has standard 1/4 male spade connectors. I need to move a gripper to the microswitch and touch the spade connectors with something that will conduct the signal back to my plc. I've found the spring loaded contacts like you find in a wireless phone base but they are very small. I need something industrial! LOL

Thanks
John

That's what I have in my hand now and they are so small that I need a microscope to see them. Do you have a source for something 10x bigger?

Thanks for the reply

I see that some of the Mill-Max spring-loaded contacts are 0.042" diameter X 0.575" long. So you are saying that your preferred size is 0.42" diameter x 5.75" long?

Will there be enough room to get a 7/16" diameter probe against a 4/16" spade terminal?

Timbo_uk, my first choice is something that I don't have to modify to make it easier for my customer to replace the tips when they break them and I know they will... Thanks for the suggestion.

Lancie, ok you got me, maybe 4 times as big on the diameter and the same length...
