Simatic, Protool and WinCC

hello,

In my office several people are having problems installing Simatic, WinCC flexible and Protool on the same computer.

Some are using Step 7 v5.3 with WinCC flex v2005. On some computers it is working but on others there are problems with that...

Some use step7 v5.4 with WinCC v2007 and can not install Protool due to error messages....

Does anybody have any experience with this and knows what has to be done to get them to work properly with eachother?

Are trying to install protool after installing WinCC Flexible?

This usually works:

Install oldest software first.

We have S7 V5.4, WinCC Flex(2005/2007) and protool running on a few PC's. This one also has WinCC V6.2 installed.
Installation was: Protool, then S7 V5.3(later upgraded), S7 MicroWin, WinCC Flex 2004(later upgraded to 2005, soon 2007), last installed was WinCC V6.2. This worked for me....

I dont know about Protool but I do know you HAVE to install Step7 before you install WinCC Flex.

One of our guys just went through this on a project so we learnt the hard way.
