Hello,
i would like to know if there are several types of cables or the cable is the same to connect the laptop with the siemens s5 plc?

Furthermore after connectig to the plc if ican upload the programma which runs on this.

Thank you.

Hello;

The only cable I have use for connection to the S5 PLCs is the Siemens 6ES5 743-IBD20 (for the standard PC Com port); for a PG, you would need a 6ES5 734-2BD20. This includes a RS232/TTY converter and supports AS511 protocol.
IBH also offers USB to Current-loop cable for the same purpose; I have heard good feedback about these:
http://www.ibhsoftec-sps.de/english/Selection_Hardware_S5.htm

Once connected, you will need some form of S5 programming software to upload the existing program, eiher Step 5 (Siemens) or some Windows alternative, such as S5 for windows also from IBH. The link I gave you will also take you to their software.

Hope this helps,
Daniel Chartier
