hi all
any one can explain why brandnew off simoreg dc master 6ra70 2000amp used for dc motor (arm 400v 800amp)(field 220v 30amp)
fail in optimization run (p051=25) and F50 appear,when we calclate it manually(in stead of aut optimization) i get alarm36? the drive in defaults values we just enter the motor data and operating ac supply for motor and converter?

when the drive trips on f50,reset it and then check the value which appears in r47.01.this will give u a clear idea whats wrong

the alarm 36 means that armature current s less than 1% of the drive rating.
1) does the motor rotate when the drive is tuned on
2)is the motor connect to any load

Can I ask why you are trying to use a 1000HP drive on a 400HP motor?

edit: just noticed this post is almost two months old, if he hasn't got it figured out by now he's probably looking for a new job.
