GX Developer cut/paste

I am writing hundereds of rungs of similar ladder and decided to try and copy from instruction list into excel so i could use Excel scripts/functions to drag and drop my code. It did not paste.

I then tried into notepad, with the same results.

I am basically trying to get somthing a bit like Siemens S7 awl code.

to the best of my knowledge this is not possible (I would like to do the same)

you can however copy and paste from GX Dev to same or another GX Dev (running on same computer).

Or you can use the macro function, ideal for lots of similar code.

You just rename the bits each time you use it.
