Array and PMCR

I have to poll 3 devices on a rs485 modbus using an Omron SCU41-V1. I just implented an FB which calls a PMCR passing it two internal arrays (S and D parameters).
The problem is that the comunication doesn't succed in receiving the data from the devices.
I think that probably the problem in about the D array size.
Is it possible to use INTERNAL array as PMCR S and D parameters?
Could you help me?
