ab plc5 with citect upgrade

Hi folk,

I have allen bradley plc 5/30 and citect version 3.4,
recently i want to upgrade it (citect) to newer version7 (

the allen bradley plc remain).
but i found that the protocol of allen bradley , KT5 are

no long in the citect protocol database,(only have KE5)

can i still communicated with allen bradley if i using KE5 to

talk with plc 5/30?

any guy have same expricence with my application?

I dont know the answer but why dont you try it and see in a test setup or failing that talk to Citect technical support ?
