Your only choice to communicate with your laptop is DH+. The 1784-PCMK card will work ( PCMCIA card) Or the older 1770-KF2 box , this is a serial to DH+ device. In addition, I'd stick with Win XP Pro SP2, since I have used the PCMK without any issues. Not sure if SP3 will work. And get a Series "B" if you can. Series "A" are a but flaky depending on the OS.(worked well with older OS and carware)
