I have a Panelview Plus with the screensaver enabled. The problem is that during a CIP process, the screensaver comes on and hides any alarm banners that may pop up. Sometimes the system will fault out on a low flow alarm but the operator won't see it due to the screen saver. Is there anyway to stop the screensaver on an alarm condition? My options are to turn off the SS or crank up the timeout on it. Any ideas? Thanks, John.

I did not think the PV+ had a screen saver but you could make a mock screen saver by writing a value to back light intensity?

Thanks for the idea Cornbread. I talked to Rockwell a few minutes ago, and they said that maybe in the next frimware revision you can have an alarm disable the screen saver. Here is a demo they pointed me to for your idea.

An Alarm Horn would be a nice addition, that would get his attention.
