do you mean rotating as in an animation or simply placed at an angle?
Placed at an angle (or even 90 deg). Selecting and using the Rotate function doesn't do it.

I've never been able to do it, and trust me I've tried.
I usually use a .bmp with text generated in paint or similar software when all else fails.
