Can I swap a IFC module with an IFE? AB

Hello, I'm having a bit of a problem finding information with respect to any possible issues I might have if I try to swap out an Allen Bradley IFC card with a IFE/C module. Can't seem to find any info anywhere. I have never even seen a IFC module so I'm trying to scrounge up as much info as possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If I recall correctly the 1771-IFC is actually a 177-IF module minus the chassis swingarm. The 1771-IF and the 1771-IFE are not direct replacements as the IF is an 8-channel module where the IFE is a 16-channel. This will likely require some modifications to your Block Transfer instructions.

Thanks. I never physically saw the card. I had found the above PDF butg wasn't sure if I was looking at the correct module. Thanks again. I'll try to let you know how I make out.
