Win2k

I'm hopeing to get several Advantec Panel pc's from work,
but they are running Win98se. I tried Winxp but it runs
very sloooooooow(ram i guess). Does anyone have a copy of
Win2k that they could sell or trade for. Our IT guy says
Win2k is no longer avialiable. I have a lot of AB stuff.

You can still purchase Win2K, just not from Microsoft.

I don't believe that WinXP would be slower that W2K.
I have tried on several older consoles (Xycom/Advantech)
Win2K is not worth looking for.
(Go through your resource management in XP and disable about HALF of the running services that you will not need)
There are MANY websites that indicate what you should and should not touch, but you will be way happier with XP than with W2K.
There is a huge difference between W98SE and W2K, resource-wise.
