Hello friends, I'm new to PLC programming. So, far i worked with SCADA & I found no problems with it. When it comes to PLC programming its very difficult to understand the program which is already done by others.

So, is there any standard procedure for programming so that everyone who works with PLC program can understand.

Many thanks,

Hi friend,

in my own opinion, it will be a hard thing if the program that have been done by others have no supporting comments to help you understand the rungs they have made.

a program made by anyone should have the comments in each network/element so other can understand it but not easily. otherwise it is very difficult to understand the program made by others.
