about programming

can someone please provide me with examples for plcs programming that can be helpful for students.
also what is or how i can think in logic when i am programming a plc.

As far as systems for students to model washing machine is common and so is stop light but a bit complicated. More simple is a single motor (pump compressor etc) they could use a modular approach ie start off with just the on off then add a pressure switch.

maybe u need to let us know what type of plc programmer that you use 1st..
I'm also a newbie & i get some difficulties when trying to build up my own traffic light circuit.
but actually its not hard, its just challenging
