Does anyone know where I can get the codes for Class, Instance, and Attributes for use with Class Instance Editor? I know reading inputs is 5,2,7 and outputs is 5,2,8, but I was hoping that a matrix showing all of the codes might exist. I searched the best I could and didn't see anything.

Thanks in advance,
James

I stumbled across this document a couple years ago. I searched for an update with no luck. This may or may not be what you're looking for but, it is a good read. It has come in handy a couple of times. If anyone has a newer version, please post.

That document plus an EDS file is all I usually need to address explicit messaging to a DeviceNet device.

The description of the Path variable lets you go directly to the EDS to get the Class, Instance, Attribute, and data type to use in the MSG instruction.

Sometimes I need the User Manual (or a look at the Specification) to figure out services that are more complex than Get Attribute and Set Attribute.
