Hello everyone,

A quick question regarding a Honeywell HC900 Hybrid controller and Honeywell Experion Vista HMI:

I would like to know if Experion Vista HMI has the capability of reading any of the tags that are selected internally in an alarm group function block on the PLC side. If that is possible, would this method save the extra individual alarm tags in Quick Builder?

Thanks!

It has been a while since I have worked with Experion but the HC900 does not expose the Alarm List in the Alarm Blocks via Modbus. If you are using the Universal Modbus Driver or a straight Modbus/TCP driver you'll have to build the alarms yourself in Quickbuilder.

I don't think there is a ELN Driver, but even if there is, I don't think that driver would have access to the Alarm List, either.
