Has step5 Soft PLC in the world?

Hi all!I have a old system with CPU928B, now i hope using softPLC to substitute it. however, i have no any experience to convert step 5 user program to setp 7.
Does any one know which soft PLC can compatible both step 5 and step 7?

Do I understand correctly, that you have an old S5 PLC which you want to replace, but you want to keep the S5 code because you are not sure you can do the conversion from S5 to S7 ?

NB. Siemens WinAC is a soft-PLC based on S7, it does not support S5 code.

Anyway, I recommend that you start planning how to upgrade to a much newer PLC, rather than keeping the old S5 code. And by that I mean that you should not keep anything of the old S5 system. It is not worth it to retain the old hardware, including i/o modules.
One way would be to start with the software only, and simulate the converted code, so that you can be fairly sure that the switchover will go smoothly.

Thank you, JasperMP,yes, your understanding is right.

Post your Step 5 project (zipped) along with a description of all the cards + I/O you have. It wont take long to run it through the Step5 to Step7 converter.
