Controllogix prosoft basic module

Does anyone know if I pull the prosoft module out to change a dipswitch setting, if I will fault the PLC processor?

Right click on the module in the IO tree and select properties. On the connections tab if the "Major fault on controller if connection fails while in run mode" box is not checked you should be ok.
