S7-1200 What do people think?

Any Tips / Advice for starting out?

One of my colleagues ordered an S7-1200 starter kit which arrived this morning in the guise of V10.5 SP1. It crashes every time you add an expansion module and save the project. My colleague has now begun a 600+MB download of SP2 in a hope that it might fix his woes; good job he's not trying to do it over a dial-up connection!

So far I'm not impressed. What about everyone else?

I had no problems with V10.5 and V10.5 SP2.
Windows XP SP3, Kaspersky antivirus
Pentium 4, Core 2 Duo, Atlon X2
also confirmed the fast work on the i7 860

possible problems with Atlon X3

Working fine in my laptop too.(HP 6730b).
I have 1212 cpu + 600 KTP panel in my desktop and i like them a lot.
New TIA portal V10.5 is great.
