Omron C200HE LAN connection

Having never used Omron before, can anyone tell me if there is a LAN card/option for the C200HE?

Unfortunately there is not Ethernet option for the C200 range. There is the option of upgrading the Backlane & CPU, and maintaining the existing IO modules. This would then allow for you to add a Ethernet module to the rack.

The other option would be to get a Ethernet serial device server.... all depends on what you are wanting to acheive.

There is a PC Card Module available for the C200HE.
Part Number C200HW-PCU01-EV1. This is a module that uses a PCMCIA card. Technically you could install an Ethernet adapter in this module.

Practically speaking, this probably is not feasible.
I just checked the price and in the US the list price is $3710.37. Serial to Ethernet converter would be much more cost efficient.
