Hi,
I'm using Cimplicity v8.1. I will use a simple example to describe my problem.
Let say I have 5 pumps. I have a point folder for each pump. Each folder contain the same tags. For example:
Pump1.Start
Pump1.Run
Pump1.Auto
Pump2.Start
Pump2.Run
Pump2.Auto
Etc...
I designed a page to control one pump. This page will use a variable {NO_PUMP} which will be assigned when the page will be opened with the "open screen" action. Everywhere I need to put a point, instead of using Pump1.Start I use {NO_Pump}.Start so I will only have one page for the 5 pumps.
On my page, I have a SmartObject (button) which toggle the {NO_Pump}.Start tag.
My problem is that the variable reference doesn't work. When you enter the parameter for the SmartObject, it simply copies it into the variable list of the Smart Object. I then have two levels of variables. This doesn't work.
Anybody have a solution?
Thanks.
