Hi.

I like to control mouse functions (x-y position, and right click) from 5 digital input on a PLC.

I have a PLC and a SCADA system on same PC. So my application is to select objects and do actions on the Scada HMI system. The only interface i have is 5 buttons.

Im thinking of the several ways to attack this problem.

  1. Without programming
  2. With programming
The first way could be to have som hardware between buttons and PC. This hardware should be able to act as a mouse from reading of 5 digital input signals. A kind of Mouse HW emulator. Does this HW exist? I have not been able to find it...

The other way is to program mouse functions. I cant do this in my PLC as far as i can see. I think this can be done in some Scada system. Does anyone know if this is possible. To control mouse pointer and action from tags?

Thanks

Best Regards
Hans P
