I need help to program in RS Logix. I am reading inputs thru IB32 to
count the shaft revelutios. I am using 2 proximity sensors per shaft,
As long as the program sees 2 counts in a time period operation is ok,
if only one count in the same time period will indicate a sensor failure, if zero counts in the same time period will indicate a shaft turning failure. I am trying to use a CTU counter & a EQU counter in my program, but not quite sure how

Are you just trying to verify the motion of the shaft?
If you need the 2nd prox, set this up twice, and if one says your running while the other says you aren't, you have a sensor failure.
