I am trying to learn wincc, but the manuals given are making it hard to learn since they do not have examples. I wanted to design a simple PLC program, load it in the PLCsim and run it in wincc. At the moment, i would like to start with say a circle and a button. I want to write a PLC program where by when i press the button and the presses are 5 or more, the circle turns from blue to red. About the counts, the PLC program can do this but i do not know how i can incorperate the PLCSIM and HMI. Need some worked examples to learn from.

Any material to teach me wincc better will be of help and any ideas of how i can achieve this will be gladly appreciated.

Thanks.
