Is it possible to access a network through a AB 1000 Panel View and if so what type cable should I be using? Thanks in advance.
 
It will help someone help you if you can post the exact catalog number of your PV.

Also how is the PV connected to your PLC/SLC/CLX now?

Also your question is a little unclear to me, are you trying to connect to a network thru a secondary port on the PV?
