Modicon TSX Micro- Software, Comm Cable?

After updating a panel, I inherited another PLC for my "learning lab". It's a Modicon TSX Micro. I've not worked with a Modicon PLC yet, so I don't know anything about the software or comm cable. It's obviously a legacy PLC, so I suspect running this by the forum for input is a good idea. Any info on the software that is used, or any quirks with them? This is just for my personal learning, so hopefully the software is free, or cheap, and downloadable. Thoughts?

The software is "PL7 Micro". Part number is TLXCDPL7MP45. This software will run on a Windows 7 32 bit machine. It will not run on a 64 bit operating system.

Part number for the USB cable is TSXCUSB485 + TSXCRJMD25.

Part number for the serial cable is TSXPCX1031.
