FactoryTalkView SE - Symbol Factory Active X Error

I'm trying to animate some of the images I've dragged and dropped
from the Symbol Factory into one of my displays. Just a simple
alarm light, first image the light is off, the second image with
the light on. I'm animating so that their visibility toggles
when the alarm becomes active.

Problem: When running the application I constantly get popup
messages saying "Cannot Activate Static ActiveX Control" each
time it tries to animate the light.

Solution

On the toolbar go to
Objects -> Drawing -> Image

Draw an "Image" of any size

Image Browser will open, select Launch Library to open
the Symbol Factory. Find an image and copy it. Symbol Factory
will automatically minimize. Now back in the image browser click
Paste from Library to add the image. Select ok and you're done.

I don't understand why, but if you open the Symbol Factory by itself and drag images into your displays Factory Talk associates them with activeX causing all sorts of headaches.
