Hi Guys
I just got a question about how to use the SCP instruction in Microlix1100 controller:
I am using 1763-L16BWA controller, the analog input of controller is 0-10V(0-32760)which connected with a pressure sensor(1-5V, for 0-145 psi). the question is what is the Input Max/Min in the SCP? 16380/3276 or 5/1?

Thanks

The question is what is the Input Max/Min in the SCP? 16380/3276 or 5/1?

That depends.

If you are using one of the two analog inputs on the base unit, those inputs are 10 bit inputs, the raw input range or 0-10V is 0 to 1023, so you'll want to use 102 to 511 (don't expect great resolution)

If you are using an analog expansion card look under the IO configuration, click module, click advanced, and look to see if that channel is configured as Raw/Proportional or Scaled for PID. If its scaled for PID then 10V=16383 so you'll need to either change it to raw proportional or half your max/min.

If you are using the base units analog input then the raw data is 0-1023, for an input of 0-10 volts.

At 0 volts = 0 counts
1 volt = 102 counts (Raw Data)
5 volts = 512 counts ( Raw Data)

See excell file below for a useful tool.

If you are using a expansion analog card tell us which one.

Edit: Alaric types faster then I do.
