Cable for MicroLogix 1500

Hi , i do have RSlogix500 V7.1 , used to configure ML1500 station Containing new Analog input card 16 channel, this card is not in the card configuration list , when read the PLC station i/o it shows as {other}, can i use such card with this configuration , if not ... any advice .... regards

Please provide the forum with the complete catalog number of your ML1500 and your analog card.

The title of your post says "Cable for MicroLogix 1500". Do you need a cable? If so for what purpose?

The two 16-channel Analog Input modules available from Allen-Bradley are the 1769-IF16C and 1769-IF16V.

Because these modules were built principally for the CompactLogix family controllers, they are not in the RSLogix 500 I/O selection list (even in the current revision 8.40).

These modules can be used with the MicroLogix 1500 controller by using the Generic module profile.
