micromaster 440 inhibited

How do I get a Micromaster 440 out of the 'inhibit' condition ? It is on profibus DP.

Would have been nice to see your control- and stats words.

If you mean that the 'Locked' bit is set, simply set ON1 to 0.

Many thanks for your reply ! I am VERY new to this and I do not have a software engineer on site ! How do i set that bit you mentioned ? Bit zero of the first control word is ON ( i can see that using STARTER software. All the other VSD's that bit is OFF ).

A: Is it already a program in a PLC running this MM4?
B: What type of PLC?
C: Has it worked before?

So, if you've got a Simatic 3/400, you'll see how the bits are set on a running MM4 (from Monitor/Modify) if you check the link I just posted.

Its a 318 PLC.When i push start on the HMI i can see 5% going to the drive and the brake comes off ok. Never has worked before, we are at the commissioning stage. If i control it from an AOP it works fine in both directions. Will have a look at your link thanks.
