Has anyone upgraded to Unity 6.0 and found it to run very slow. I have upgraded from Unity 4.1 and it has taken up to 40 minutes to open a .STA file. I have been dealing with Schneider Tech Support for three weeks trying different things with no success. I have reverted back to 4.1 until I get a viable answer.

I found it to be very slow too - not 40 min slow, but slow. Maybe Unity7 will be better?

It seems worse when I open files made with previous versions. If you find a way to speed things up, be sure to let us know!

Ok so after weeks of loading Unity Pro 6.0 and having no success so reloading V4.1 I have this so far.

Unity Pro 6.0 and Kaspersky Internet Security do not play well together. I also found that using the windows unisntall for Kaspersky does not get all the files of your computer. There is a free utility on Kaspersky site to remove the rest of the files. I will try another reload when I get some free time.

I have been informed by Tech support Unity Pro 7.0 is coming out this spring/summer. They are hoping to address the sluggishness of the application.

Stay tuned.....

Stache,
I'm running Unity V10.0 and I'm having problems with it running very slow as well. I'm curious if you had any luck in getting it to run faster?
