S7 Question

I did a new Function block in the S7 project. Now i want to download it. How could just the new function block can download? Because as i understood if goto project -- blocks -- hit download then it will download all the blocks. I want to download just new Function block. I think i need to open new Function block and then hit download.Could anyone clear my confusion.
