Rs logix

In RS LOGIX 5, 500 and 5000 I have the same issue. I am online and I can't force a bit. I right click the contact an the force option isn't available.
I have to goto the data table to manipulate bits.
Any ideas?

You cannot force bits in RSLogix 500 or 5000, you can only Force Real Inputs or Real Outputs (or aliases of real ins/outs in 5000).

The only bit manipulation you have is Toggle On/Off, which works, but the logic from the running processor may override it and turn a bit back on or off.
