idec fa-1

I have a wax injection machine that uses an idec fa-1 plc, with expansion unit. Does anyone know where I could pick up some software to troubleshoot and modify the programming on this unit? Or is it pre-PC era? Is there a handheld out there?

This is an older machine, but a new one on me. Any tips or advice?
