I would first like to introduce myself. My name is Victor and I am studying to become a Automation engineer. Im quit new registered to the forum but I have been lurking around here for the past 2years.
The problem Im having is with a school project. We are working on a FMS-200.
Im trying to communicate from a siemens slave system(315-2 dp) with the master (also a 315-2 dp system) over Profibus.
I have no idea how I should setup the hardware configuration in the slave.
Should I just add send/recive blocks in the slave and send it to the profibus address the master is on?. Also in the "Configure Network" should I put my plc in the "Operating mode" "slave", and address it with the same profibus address I have in the master configuration?.
I hope this does not sound too confusing.
