Hello,I am relatively new to PLC programming and new to this forum. I am having an issue with a trainer that I have just built. It is a 5/04 processor with I/O and a 1746-NI4, 1746-NO4V and a 1746-NT4.
I am using rs 500 ver.6.2.
Iam being told when I try to write a program with the SCP instruction that the instruction is not supported in the current processor.
Can anyone tell me what may be the problem? Thanks in advance,Terry Higham
Sorry if this shows up twice, but I had posted on practice posting and wasn't sure if it would post in Q&A.

OS400 didn't support SCP, but OS401 does. You can Upgrade your PLC Firmware fairly cheaply to the latest revision. It might be worth contacting your local AB Supplier.
