Good day all. Trying to get my head around the scaling blocks. The application is a PI loop for pump control vs pressure. I am aware that in PI mode the scaling blocks' o/p spans are set by the PI ref and feedback limits (460-463).
I'd like to have the HIM speed command read 0.0 to 10.0 for the pressure in bar and then scale analogue i/p 2 (feedback from 4-20mA transducer) to display 0-10(bar) in say, the bus voltage field (the 3rd numeric display). I'm using the HIM as the PI setpoint input via port 2. So far I've got the paras set to:
80: 0
90: 19 Speed ref A = HIM
125: Bit 0 set; PID enabled
126: 25 PI ref = scale 1 out
128: 26 PI feedback = scale 2 out
477: 10 Scale 1 in hi
478: 0 Scale 1 in lo
460: 50(Hz?) PI ref hi
461: 0 PI ref lo
462: ??? PI feedback hi
463: 0 PI feedback lo
Are the display units programmable to show eng units like bar, etc? The idea is to control for pressure, not Hz or rpm.
Thanks.
